Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about the platform, points and privacy.

Is Tax O'Clock free?

Yes. Registering, playing quizzes, learning and earning points are completely free. A premium cash-prize Challenge with a small entry fee is planned for a later release, and it will always be optional.

Are points the same as cash?

No. Points are a measure of your participation. They convert to reward value (₦0.35 per point) that you can redeem for vouchers and benefits once you reach 12,000 points — they are never paid out as cash.

Do my points expire?

Below 12,000 points, never. Once you cross the threshold you have 12 months to redeem, and we notify you well before anything expires.

Who is behind Tax O'Clock?

Tax O'Clock is developed by Sinekinetics Consulting as a public-interest tax literacy and taxpayer engagement platform, proposed for adoption by the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS).

Is my data safe?

We collect only what the platform needs, protect it with industry-standard security, and never sell it. You can delete your account (and your data) anytime from your profile.

Do I need to be a taxpayer to join?

No. Anyone can join, learn, play and earn points. Verified taxpayer actions simply earn higher points and will unlock premium raffles in a later release.

How do referrals work?

Every account has a referral code. When referral rewards activate (next release), you'll earn 50 points for each person who joins with your code and completes their first activity.
